You might already know what's going on here.
Joaquin Niemann will be the crowd favourite this week at the Mayakoba Golf Classic.
Niemann's 1-month old cousin was recently diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. The treatment for that is very expensive.
In fact, it is among the most expensive medicine in the world and needs to be administered within the first 100 days of a baby's life in order for it to be effective.
On this news, Niemann has pledged all earnings for the week to his cousin and fellow pro's are wearing ivory ribbons in support.
He did this in his last start as well, donating in excess of $150,000 to the cause.
They've also put together a GoFundMe page which a lot of Niemann's fellow golfers are contributing to as well.
Jeez I love this sort of stuff, when people come together like this for something so important.
I can honestly say I've never really cheered for Joaquin Niemann, I am fairly patriotic in my support for the Australian's and legends like Tiger & Phil.
But right now, I want Joaquin Niemann to win, he's 6 under, 7 shots off the pace after Round 2.
Let's hope he goes very low tomorrow!
