I've had a look over the form and there's some good races to get stuck right into today across Australia.
Because I am such a good bloke, I have included my suggested bets in there for those who have requested, basing it on the fact that we've got $100 to spend. This'll give you an idea as to the confidence levels for each.
Ipswich Race 3 - Sweet Gold - $2.25 ($30 win)
18 starts for no wins and we're tipping it at $2.25. Doesn't make much sense does it? But surely this finds the right race and has already been well backed. I should say it has had 12 minor placings in those 18 starts but if C Waller is happy to persist, then so am I. Highlights might be the danger, stepping up in trip at only its second race start.
Morphetville Race 5 - Munster - $2.90 ($20 win)
Well he's won everything else this year, premierships, State of Origin, the list goes on. I see no reason why Munster can't win today. Jess Eaton will have to give it a good steer from the barrier but it did seem to trial very well. Pretty keen here on Cameron Munster.
Morphetville Race 6 - Getouttheway - $3.80 ($10 win)
This bloke has found some form. He's always had a tendency to miss the start, but let's hope he steps clean because if he does, he should give this a fair shake. $3.80 or thereabouts looks a good price in a small field - just praying for the clean getaway!
Morphetville Race 7 - Li'l Kontra - $2.70 ($15 win)
Didn't do much last preparation but at it's best, Li'l Kontra would lap these horses. Here's her winning a recent jump out.
Betting on the fact that Ryan Balfour has got her ready to go and she should get a gun run from the inside draw for Jason Holder. Like it!
Sandown Race 5 - Miss Five Hundred - $26 ($5 each way)
Roughie alert! Beaten 5L, the Moonee Valley track was never going to suit her last start, love her back to Sandown where she's 1 from 1 at the track and distance. $26, might even get more than that so tread carefully but it's worth a little throw at the stumps!
Warwick Farm Race 1 - Tamerlane - $2.80 ($15 win)
Hugh Bowman takes the ride on Godolphin filly, Tamerlane. Trialled fairly well under a stranglehold and is drawn well here. Got to admit, Hugh Bowman has been a bit of a prick to me lately but I'll back him get the chocolates in the first.
As always, good luck, good punting and gamble responsibly.
