This'll win on Saturday, Vol 3.

Righto, so we're 1/2 on these early market tips.

What happened last week? Well, Fort Wayne never travelled like the good horse that I think (thought) he was.

Steward's Report noted that jockey Matt McGillivray said the horse was coughing in the run and never travelled. Well I could have told him it never travelled!

So in summary, Fort Wayne has COVID and that's why he didn't run well.

For those of you who don't know, coughing whilst running probably isn't conducive to hitting top speeds.

That said, not making any excuses, although it would have been good had they detected said cough prior to the race so we could at least get our money back!

This week we're taking on the big one, the feature of the day, the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas.

Remember this race last year? If you were on Alligator Blood, then I sincerely apologise for bringing it up. He was home for all the tea money in China! Super Seth stormed home and nabbed him. Ouch!

This year, it seems a pretty thin race and I really like one!

Caulfield Race 8, King's Legacy ($7).

He's come up with Barrier 12, which doesn't help! But Hugh Bowman travels down from Sydney to partner it, in addition to the favourite in the Thousand Guineas.

Ps. How is Hungry Heart favourite over Instant Celebrity? That doesn't make sense to me.

Anyways, more on that in our weekly racing preview. The Caulfield Guineas is all about King's Legacy.

Back in April he won the Champagne Stakes over 1600m, beating Saturday's favourite, Ole Kirk. Third up into the Caulfield Guineas looks spot on.

Perhaps the only hesitation may be that it'll be his first time going the Melbourne way, and obviously first time at Caulfield. That's where Tagaloa has the edge.

Plenty of respect for Tagaloa who sat wide in the Rupert Clarke and was only beaten 1.8L. If that hasn't flattened him, he'll take a power of beating.

But expecting King's Legacy to sit three deep, hopefully with some cover and come around them. Hugh Bowman has made the trip to Melbourne, meaning he will forego his ride on Bivouac in The Everest next week.

Bowman was quoted as saying that he thought Bivouac would win if he drew a barrier, if he's that confident on him, what does that tell you about the chances of King's Legacy given he's made the move to Melbourne?! Ya feelin' me?

Give it strength @ $7!
