Score last week ran 4th, of course it did @ a decent each way price.
Albeit I did only back it the win.
It was backed in hard, jumping around $5 but I was nervous when the track was downgraded - no one predicted that rain!
Anyways, if you've had a go at these tips each week, we're dead set even based on an even staking plan - let's get into positive territory this week.
This week we're heading to Eagle Farm with racing returning to headquarters in Brisbane. I think there's a nice horse up from Sydney with one of the greatest jockeys of all-time on it.
Eagle Farm Race 8 - Frosty Rocks @ $2.20
I just can't see anything beating him.
Frosty Rocks bolted in first up in Sydney and now gets G Boss on board, he'll go straight to the front, Master Jamie will come across and sit outside and Profit might sit third the fence.
Profit, as the market suggests, is obviously the danger, but forecasted rain in Brisbane means Frosty Rocks is a good bet.
Profit has never seen a wet track, doesn't mean he won't handle it, but Frosty will have a head start on him here and be hard to beat.
I love Glen Boss on a front runner - it's underrated how good he is when he's swinging off one and then has a cheeky look behind.
If the rain doesn't come, I am less confident but surely the bureau won't get it wrong!! Surely...
Bossy has partnered this horse once before but was on board in a recent tick over trial which makes me think this race has been on the radar for quite some time. It won that trial, pretty convincingly.
Frosty Rocks for G Boss - the bet of the weekend.
