Two rounds in the books and the early pre-season favourites are right where we thought they'd be - sitting right atop the ladder.
The Friday night game was an absolute belter.
Penalties galore, the Rebels scoring in 3 point increments only, 7 penalty kicks and no tries.
Referee Jordan Way might need to pick up a new whistle from Rebel Sport this week.
Didn't Hunter Paisami put a fair shot on Matt To'omua!
With a minute to go, Paisami almost became the villain, kicking the ball away in the final minute and then trying to make up for it with another bone-rattler, he got it wrong and clipped Frank Lomani a bit high.
To'omua of course missed the opportunity to ice the game and the Reds win.
For the Reds, the night belonged to Alex Mafi - outstanding.
In the other game, well what do you say?
The Waratahs coach is gone.
61-10 - ouch.
Brumbies just dominated everything, contact zone, set piece, breakdown & obviously, the scoreboard.
The Waratahs actually led 3-0 at one stage and the half-time score of 26-10 was manageable.
But wow, that second half was nasty.
Something's got to give this week @ the Waratahs. Perhaps assistant coach and Australian 20's coach Jason Gilmore takes over?
This weekend the Tahs get a chance to win a game, they play the Force in Sydney, while the Brumbies take on the Rebels, the Brumbies of course looking for three in a row.
The QLD Reds have the bye - you'd think they'll be having a quiet drink.
We'll have a full round preview later in the week.
