Super Rugby Round 3

Updated: Mar 5, 2021

It's only Round 3 of the Super Rugby Season and already it looks like we can nail the ladder in order, perhaps the top 2 positions are the only ones that don't look clear and obvious.

Looks about right doesn't it?

This week the Reds are on holidays, let's look at the two games.

Waratahs $2.14 Vs Force $1.71

Farken hell.

The Waratahs, horrible. To their credit, they led the Brumbies 3-0 the other night, that's about as good as it got for them.

The Brumbies farken destroyed them.

The Force on the other hand were quite competitive against the Brumbies in Week 1, just some crucial errors at the wrong time cost them. I know, I had backed the Force with a start.

Based on what we've seen over the first two weeks, you'd be thinking there will be a big shiny wooden spoon greeting the Waratahs this year and despite home ground advantage, I'll tip the Force.

That said, I think it'll be close, I am not expecting the Force to come out and wipe them off the park, let's go with the Force 1-12 @ $2.95.

Brumbies $1.17 Vs Rebels $4.90

The Rebels were pretty good against the Reds and I'm expecting them to be competitive here again.

The Rebels have a fair bit of young talent in their squad and indeed their match day 23, love to see those blokes coming through.

That Brumbies pack is just so good but, their set piece is hard to match and Nic White is playing very good rugby footy at the moment.

Think this'll be a bit of an arm wrestle initially, the Rebels might kick a few penalties for something different and then the Brumbies will assert their dominance in the last 20 minutes.

Brumbies by something like 15 points, that's paying $31, that'll do!
