Super Rugby Round 2

Round 2 of Super Rugby staring us right in the face.

The Reds get another one on the home deck, fortress Suncorp Stadium, while the Brumbies host the Waratahs @ GIO Stadium.

Queensland Reds ($1.23) Vs Melbourne Rebels ($4.40)

The Reds were mighty impressive last Friday night and you'd think they've still got a bit in the locker.

Taniela Tupou returns to the starting line up and Suliasi Vunivalu comes on to the bench - he'll no doubt see the last 20 minutes or so for his Super Rugby debut.

The Rebels enjoyed the week off and no doubt would have done their fair share of video on the Reds.

They've picked a good side with a number of fresh faces suiting up for the Rebels for the first time, while the old firm of To'omua, Hodge & Koroibete will provide most of the points you'd think.

Hodge is listed as playing inside centre, I am reliably informed he'll start there, then after 20 minutes he'll move to flanker. Then after the half-time break he has 4 x 10 minute blocks at Hooker, Halfback, Fullback & then finishes up where he started at 12.

Pretty versatile, but I digress.

You'd be a very brave man to tip against the Reds here, how about that combo of McReight and Wilson last week? Pretty fooking good.

It's normally a pretty good game this one and I think it will be for 50-60 minutes until the Reds assert their dominance across the park.

Fuck that backline is RED hot, pun intended.

Reds by 18.

ACT Brumbies ($1.11) Vs NSW Waratahs ($7)

Jeez the Waratahs were shithouse last week. Seriously.

They're trying to build this up as the good old fashioned rivalry, but this'll be a bloodbath.

The Brumbies were fairly clinical in their win over the Force, albeit the Force threw away a number of great opportunities.

The Brumbies way too good here - that won't be breaking news given they've come up around $1.11 - very short!

Brumbies pack is too experienced and too good, they'll dominate the set piece contest here and that'll lead to them dominating the scoreboard.

Brumbies by 28.

Suggested Bet: Taking a multi for the Super Rugby, Reds & Brumbies to both cover their respective lines of 11.5 & 16.5.

That'll pay about $3.60!

Good luck & if you're having a punt, don't be an idiot, do it responsibly.
