The BBL & Tennis have been okay, but Friday night there's rugby on.
Two games to kick off the 2021 season.
Of course last year, it was the Brumbies beating the Reds in a thrilling final that went down to the final scrum.
Plenty of intrigue in both games, the Reds look really solid favourites against a relatively inexperienced Waratahs outfit.
The Waratahs missing Michael Hooper, Ned Hanigan & Rob Simmons - all having signed contracts overseas.
Jake Gordon takes over as skipper for NSW.
While for QLD, they are of course down their skipper, Liam Wright. James O'Connor will captain the Reds who on paper look to have the most well balanced side in the competition.
It'll be interesting to see how their backline looks for Round 1 - interesting too will be the likely debut of Suliasi Vunivalu.
In the other game, the Force host the Brumbies at HBF Park in Perth.
The Force have seemingly recruited well and have a nice mix of youth and experience. They've bought in a couple of Argentinians and added Tevita Kuridrani as well.
Fairly sure the Force will be playing a very physical brand of rugby - they look pretty tough.
The Brumbies on the other hand, well they're the favourites to win the Super AU competition - that's somewhat surprising to me.
Granted, they're pretty bloody good and have a fair bit of stability in their playing roster, but I thought the Reds might be favourites.
Who wins both matches?
We'll have full match previews up on the website on Friday + our suggested bets for both games.
Prior to then, make sure there's beers in the fridge - or maybe some Fat Pixie's if you like a ginger beer - and get ready to put the feet up.
Oh yeah, the Rebels have the bye, they'll probably be on the piss.
