Decent weekend last week, managing to turn a profit.
The Face was a nice winner and Quackerjack each way and Propelle early in the week paid for this week's groceries.
Back for more this week and there's a lot of multis I reckon we can play.
A smell of autumn in the air with some nice horses returning in Sydney, let's go, sorry, lessgo.
No prizes for tipping Enthaar in Race 4 @ Caulfield, but the $1.30 is very short for a horse having it's first run the Melbourne way of going.
That said, it was pretty farken impressive at it's first start!
I like the topweight in Race 5, Tagaloa. Think he'll go forward from the wide gate and might even lead them, just think it's the best horse in the race and will be winning - close to being the best of the day. Doubt the $3.60 will last - think it has to shorten!
The other bet in Melbourne comes up in the last, in fact I think we've got tips in all the last races on the Caulfield, Rosehill & Sunshine Coast meetings respectively, so if you're chasing your tail - we might be able to come good!
Race 9 @ Caulfield - Defibrillate. This horse is absolutely flying and don't think there's anything that can beat it in this field, the danger might be the topweight which goes well fresh, that's Sound. But keen on Defibrillate to win again here around the $2.60 mark.
Tough day in Sydney!
No bets for me until the feature race, the Expressway Stakes. This is a cracking field, all horses resuming and I think the 1200m on a good track suits Savatiano ($3.80) to get away with this one. Bowman will take her to the front or I think she'll sit just off Mizzy and go past her. Stars of the Seas will be flashing hard late, so too will Ole Kirk, that's probably the first four! Easy!
The get out stakes in Sydney throws up a crowd favourite that officially broke my heart last start before the spell. Prepared to forgive him, if you watched his trial, you'd wonder why he's $1.90 and not shorter, he looked to be low flying! Think he'll go forward here, he may keep Big Parade out for the lead and should be winning.
Racing is at the Sunshine Coast this week for the Sunshine Coast Cup.
First bet comes up in Race 4, old our mate Platinum Euros ($2.20). I had a small fortune on this horse one day, he let us down. Since then he's bolted in and it looks as if he enjoys the Sunshine Coast track.
Meets a tougher race here but perfectly drawn with no weight, I think we'll get better than the early price of $2.20 that I am seeing, but with even luck you'd think Tiff Brooker will pull this to the outside and roar home.
Best bet across the weekend comes up in the Sunshine Coast Cup, Race 8 - you can read about that here!
The other bet @ the coast comes up in the last, keen on the topweight here Tambo's Mate. Back to the 1000m suits big time and he loves the Sunshine Coast track. Clearly the best horse in the race here and at $9 looks a great each way gamble.
Couple of nice horses going around in Adelaide, going to back an all up!
Morphetville Race 6 - Behemoth ($1.45)
Morphetville Race 7 - Taken Off ($3.10)
