Saturday Racing Preview

I sound like a broken record but this weekend looks a bit tough outside of a few shorties.

But, lockdowns across the country and we all need some winners to get us through Saturday.

Well, here they are, hopefully.

Flemington

Getting in nice and early, my best bet of the day comes up in Race 1 @ Flemington, you can read about that here.

How's this one? $18 or thereabouts. Race 6, Django Freeman. 1600m first up might not be the best time to back him but only beaten a few lengths by Verry Elleegant last campaign. Not bad form at all and he's actually not missed a place first up. We're getting $18. Good price!

Last race of the day I am going to back the fast Kah with Seb Song ($4.60). Extra 100m helps and really liked it's run last start. Keen on him to run a big race on the soft ground.

Randwick

Found Sydney quite a difficult card also, just the 1 bet.

Race 8, we're going with the Waller & McEvoy combination and backing Oscar Zulu ($3.30). Looking for 4 wins on the trot and loves the soft ground. Can't see why he doesn't win again?

May have been wrong a few times before I suppose...

Eagle Farm

Tricky day at the Farm.

Shooting for Gold looks a good bet in 2nd race. $1.60 actually seems generous, I reckon he'll start $1.35 or less.

Race 4 I thought Peppi La Few ($4.40) would be a really nice chance if he gets any luck at all from the barrier. Already good money for him, if Jimmy can just find some cover in the run without getting too far back, I think he wins. Very keen.

Little each way play for our last bet in Brisbane, thought Lady Brahmos ($13) in Race 7 might run a nice race @ good each way odds. Fradd on and third up after a good run last start, I'll have more on the place than the win but certain she'll be charging late.
