Saturday Racing Preview

Wowee.

This is a tough old day, I will be treading very carefully here.

And I mean, very carefully.

Once the Brisbane Winter Carnival is in full swing I'll be getting aggressive but this might be more an educational weekend.

But, there's still some money to be made, let's find a couple of winners.

Caulfield

I can't work out why All of Brighton is $7.50 in the 5th race. It stormed home and was probably unlucky last start and gets similar conditions here.

It beat home Winsum last time and gets a good draw here and you'd think might sit a bit closer. Why $7.50? Get on!

In Race 7, I am going to have a bit each way on Another Dollar @ around $21. Second up from a spell, just pulled her head off first up and ran okay. She does have a problem in settling in her races but I think she'll get enough tempo here with some good speed engaged in the race.

Let's hope at least, $21 is a nice price to find out.

Randwick

Thought the win of Kiku last start @ Randwick was pretty sensational, keen to back up on him in the 2nd race @ Randwick again this week around the $2.80 mark.

Champagne Stakes looked like it would be a one horse show when Anamoe was in the nominations, but Godolphin then sent him off to the paddock and we're left with a fairly even field.

That said, Hilal ($2.80) looks hard to beat, it took a bit of ground of Anamoe last start and is drawn to get the gun run in the race.

Doomben

Tough old start to the card in Brisbane, waiting until Race 5 for the best bet of the day anywhere. You can read about that here.

It's a very tough day, I'll be playing some each way multis around The Candy Man, Kiku & All of Brighton.

Good luck, good punting & gamble responsibly.
