Really keen on this card of racing.
Some nice horses going around and some good value, been on a bit of a heater lately, let's hope that form continues.
Race 4 - Struck By ($6.50). Adelaide horse that's strung three wins together in a row. Wide barrier means this bloke will have no options but to go forward and sit outside the lead probably, which might be Captain Spud. They may well fight it out.
Last race of the day, I have to be with the Waller & Kah connection with Re Edit ($4.20). Not stoked at the $4.80 but with the good draw and no weight, this race sets up very well.
First bet of the day comes up in the second, Master of Wine ($2.25) won't know himself contesting this sort of race.
Only 2, maybe 3 winning chances and Master of Wine looks like it'll get the perfect run just behind the speed and McEvoy will be swinging off him at the top of the straight.
Looks hard to beat.
Race 5 on the card is an excellent sprint race. I like one that's not run a good race in quite a while but has trialled well and has switched stables. That's Wisdom of Water ($11).
He went down to Mick Price and didn't fire, back the Sydney way of going might be the trick, two trial have been pretty good and should either lead or sit just in behind, worth a dabble @ $13.
Best of the day comes up in the 3rd race @ Eagle Farm, you can read about that here.
The other bet in Brisbane is in Race 5. This is a nice race and I'll back Gotta Kiss to win. Apache Chase might lead them, Gotta Kiss ($3.40) might even stay near the fence and hunt a rails run, I think she'll be hard to hold out fresh up from a mini spell.
Good luck, good punting & gamble responsibly.
