Saturday Racing Preview

A cheeky 3-leg multi saved us from a complete wipe out last week.

Fark it was tough, unless you were the other two idiots on our Punters Club podcast, they found some winners!

Great racing this week, Australian Guineas, Chipping North Stakes - love it!

Great card of racing @ Flemington and a fairly tough meeting.

Just the 1 bet in Melbourne on the weekend, that comes up in Race 3, Sierra Sue @ around $7.50. Wasn't flash first up but comes here to I think it's preferred track and literally ticks every box. Unbeaten @ the track, unbeaten @ the distance and unbeaten second up. $7.50 looks a nice price, should lead this field or sit outside Holbien.

Sydney racing is really good this weekend with them likely to be on a soft track.

Race 2, the Skyline Stakes is a competitive race and I'm backing one @ huge odds, that's Sing A Love Song @ around $23. Step up in distance helps here and a bit of softness in the track won't hurt it either I don't think. Getting $4 of thereabouts a place so of course, I'll be on this bloke each way, don't mind it.

Race 6 is one of the feature races, the Chipping Norton Stakes. I am with Verry Elleegant ($2.70), like the step up in distance and hopefully she can step away cleanly this week.

Massive respect for Collette, she's unbeaten on soft and heavy tracks but Verry Elleegant is top notch, think the step up in distance suits as well. This could be a nice little match race, not sure who starts favourite but it'll be a belter.

Best bet of the day this Saturday comes up in Race 8 @ Randwick, you can read about that here.

Sunshine Coast

Waiting til the second last on the day, Race 8. Backing Wapiti ($5.50) here after it finished only 3.5L off Paradee last time out. That's right, Paradee!

Sofie's Gold Class is the big danger in my humble opinion but no weight and Fradd on board, expecting Wapiti to record his 4th career win.

That's it for this week, there's got to be a profit in some of those selections!

I almost forgot, Adelaide is normally pretty good to me, you'd thin Scorched Earth ($2.25) might be pretty hard to beat in the 6th @ Murray Bridge!

Good luck, good punting & gamble responsibly!
