Queensland Premier Rugby - We need a correspondent

You'd hate to be a poor old prop that might have overdone things at Christmas with the pudding and rum balls.

Rugby clubs around Brisbane will kick off their respective pre-seasons next week, 1.2km time trials, strength testing and general fitness - that'll be the order of the day.

Fun fun.

COVID cut the 2020 season short, organisers did well to get 1 round of games together and then the finals series @ Ballymore.

This year, it looks as if normal programming will resume.

Not sure what the telecast deal looks like in terms of Channel 9 owning the rights to rugby - does that effect anything - I have no idea.

Regardless, we're looking for someone to be our QPR correspondent for 2021.

What does it entail?

Weekly previews and reviews, general blogging to fill the rumour mill, maybe some video content around the grounds, that's about it.

If you're a QPR tragic, semi-intelligent and have time in your life to put together some content - this might be something to help you build your personal platform and assist in building the game of rugby in QLD.

Now I know all the NSW based readers are wondering if we're keen to do the same for Shute Shield.

Short answer is yes, but we'd need a similar resource in Sydney that can take the lead on the content.
