NRL Week 9

Updated: May 7

Well I was 6 from 6 and then the two dangers games on Sunday really threw a spanner in the works.

I took the Cowboys, of course I did.

They let the Warriors skip out to a big lead and then finally switched on, too little too late but unfortunately.

Then the Tigers, good on em, they got a win.

Alright, this week - couple of nice games - let's have a look.

Souths & Melbourne.

Great way to start on Thursday night, both teams missing some players including Rabbitohs skipper Adam Reynolds.

Betting suggests the Storm are too good, that might be the case but they're short around $1.35. Maybe Storm win but back Souths with a start?

Penrith & Cronulla. Ahhh Penrith.

Parramatta and Sydney City, another good one but another one where both teams are missing some troops - particularly the Roosters.

We all heard about Brett Morris, they've lost Lindsay Collins as well.

Roosters often just seem to find a way but they'll have to be good here. The Eels likely too strong but probably not by much.

Maybe.

What's going on in Canberra?!

Now the skipper has stood down.

Big Josh Papalii is back in the starting line up, he'll be ready to go. Surely the Raiders beat the Knights here. Tipping the Canberra to bounce back.

Tigers and Titans?

Hmmm, good question.

Tigers probably had their Birthday last week, Titans should be too good here despite that ridiculous loss to the Broncos last week.

Corey Thompson is a big loss for the Gold Coast but they get back Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and they'll be wanting more from David Fifita this week after his rather quiet outing against Brisbane.

Alright the Broncos & Cowboys. It's been a good rivalry over the years but the teams aren't what they used to be.

Broncos are a chance here to spoil the party up in Townsville on Saturday night, both teams capable of sleeping for 20 mins and conceding lots of points so I'll be taking the Broncos to win and the total match points to be more than 44.5 @ $1.90.

Smart betting!

More of these would be nice!

Sunday games are a couple of bludgers to be fair.

Sea Eagles will beat the Warriors I reckon, albeit Reece Walsh is a star.

Then the Dragons should beat the Bulldogs but St George might be hitting a bit of a soft patch in terms of their form. Not a game I am getting too excited about, that's for sure.
