NRL Preview Round 19

I don't think we're going to get too excited about this round of rugby league, everyone is just waiting for the finals to start now that the Top 8 is set, let's be honest.

The short priced multi players will be loving this weekend, 5 teams under $1.15 in head-to-head markets. You're joking? There could be some value to be had.

Rabbitohs ($1.10) vs Bulldogs ($7)

Rabbitohs @ $1.10? Bit short isn't it? Admittedly, the Bulldogs are in last position and haven't won for quite some time. Dane Gagai misses again for the Rabbitohs, whilst the Dogs welcome back Luke Thompson, among a few others.

No way in the world would I be taking Souths at the short quote, maybe it is the Bulldogs at line of 16.5 for $1.90? That might be the way to go, they always seem to fight. Souths by 14.

Cowboys ($5.90) vs Penrith ($1.13)

How are the Panthers not shorter than the Eels or Rabbitohs? If anything, this $1.13 looks value. Surely they just destroy the Cowboys and in doing so, they'll shore up the minor premiership. Jason Taumalolo is set to return, doubt it'll be enough for the Cowboys. Fair dinkum, Penrith by 26.

Eels ($1.10) vs Broncos ($6.80)

Jeez, I'd love to be able to tip the Broncos here but I just can't, not after last week. Parramatta aren't going well at all but they'll still have too much for the Broncos at Bankwest Stadium you'd think.

But seriously, Parramatta are not in good form and they've come up at $1.10? You're kidding. Having said that, Parra have utterly destroyed Brisbane in all recent encounters, but maybe the Broncos here giving up 16.5 @ $1.90 is the right play. Give them strength. Parramatta by 16.

Sea Eagles ($1.45) Vs Titans ($2.76)

I'll seriously struggle to watch this one, but again, Manly @ $1.45? Titans gunning for 3 in a row. I know Turbo Tom Trbojevic is back, that'll add some spark to the Sea Eagles, but crikey. Not sure about the odds.

Kevin Proctor returns for the Titans after serving his suspension for biting. Tough one here, I'll favour Manly, only just. Manly by 6.

Storm ($1.14) vs Tigers ($5.70)

Hmmm, probably going to get nasty as well, albeit the Tigers are capable on their day. Christian Welch back in for the Storm, you'd think they're just Ryan Papenhuyzen away from being at full strength.

Tigers might put up a mini fight here but ultimately the Storm will be too good, Storm by 14.

Roosters ($1.10) vs Sharks ($6.90)

James Tedesco will miss this one for the Roosters, no doubt just a rest as we approach finals time. Jospeh Manu will take over at fullback whilst enforcer, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returns to the starting line up.

The Sharks have done enough to be playing October, but they won't be troubling the Roosters here I wouldn't think. Roosters by 18.

Raiders ($1.12) vs Warriors ($6.20)

Christ the Raiders are short here. How are they shorter than the Panthers? I'll never work that one out. Warriors present some value and with nothing to play for, they will throw the ball around and play an entertaining brand of footy you'd think.

That said, the Raiders are probably too strong here down in the nation's capital, they'll get the W and stay in the race for a Top 4 finish. Raiders by 14.

Knights ($1.33) vs Dragons ($3.25)

I very much doubt I'll be watching this one. The only reason I would? Kalyn Ponga. He returns after missing last week's loss to the Roosters. Knights haven't been great, Dragons might show up and knock them off but either way I think it'll be tight. I'll say Dragons in an upset by 4.
