Look who's back

This was brilliant to watch.

Did you know that Jordan Speith has plummeted to #92 in the world rankings - it's been a tough watch for his fans.

In 2015 he ended the year on top of the world, he was ranked the #1 and flying high, by the end of 2017 he was still at #2.

Since then, well it's been a pretty lean time.

2020 was his worst year, 6 missed cuts from 20 starts and he dropped to #82 in the rankings - ouch!

But Round 3 of the Waste Management Phoenix Open it all changed and boy, am I happy.

It might be a bit premature but Jordan Speith might be back.

10 under 61 and some of the old magic.

He hit plenty of greens, when he didn't, his short game was outstanding the putter was simply on fire.

Speith & Xander Schaufelle are in the final group, tied on 18 under, 3 shots clear of chasing pack.

I'm a big Xander Schaufelle guy, but you'd think he won't be getting too much support tomorrow from the galleries and the wider golfing community.

We want Jordan back to his very best - let's hope he rides that into tomorrow!
