How to spend $100 on The Masters

Ahhh, we've waited a while but it is finally here.

The best sporting event on the calendar each year.

It seems a decade ago since Tiger tapped in on the 18th and Jim Nantz coined the phrase, 'the return to glory'.

But no, that was April last year, Tiger's 5th green jacket.

Augusta in November, without any crowds around amen corner, it'll be a bit different won't it.

Everyone's raving about Bryson, thinking that he's going to be overpower the course and win it easy.

I think it's a bit more complicated than that, I would suspect he'll be competitive but Augusta is a bit trickier than just being able to be overpowered in my humble opinion.

In fact history tells us that accuracy off the tee, not so much distance, is the key ingredient in the pursuit for the green jacket.

Righto, this is so exciting, here's how you could spend $100 on the Masters!

Jon Rahm - $10 to win @ $10 & $25 to finish in the Top 10 @ $2.10

Main bet for the 2020 Masters is the big Spaniard and world number 2. This'll be his 4th Masters, he's not finished outside the Top 30 in his first 3 appearances and has 2 Top 10's. We all saw the hole in one during the week as well, in case you didn't...

I am not the biggest Rahm fan if I am being honest, but I think he's got the game to get the job done this week.

Patrick Cantlay - $5 to win @ $26 & $20 to finish in the Top 10 @ $3.20

Regular readers will know we've been keen on Cantlay for some time now. At one stage it looked like he might challenge Tiger late on Sunday last year before stumbling late, think he's going to win a Masters at some point in his career. Could it be 2020?

Louis Oosthuizen - $20 to finish in the Top 10 @ $5.50

Just loves the majors this bloke and has a reasonably good record around Augusta. 4 Top 20's, including runner up in 2012 to Bubba Watson. Don't know if he can win it, but think he'll be able to finish near enough to the winner.

Tiger Woods - $10 to win @ $41 & $10 to finish in the Top 5 @ $9

How can you possibly let the GOAT go around and not have a bit on him? He's not in the best of form but 2019 gives us hope. Gunning for his 6th green jacket and based on our staking plan, would actually be our best result. Go Tiger!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the two lefties and previous Masters champs, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson in contention either. Augusta has a history of turning people's form around when it is least expected.

Enjoy the Masters!
