How about that game in Canberra

If you're a sports junkie like me, you had a couple of options last night.

Watch the Roosters treat Manly like they were a bunch of school girls.

OR

Watch Penrith destroy the Cowboys.

OR

Watch one of the greatest games of rugby ever seen in Australia.

It was so fucken good.

78 points in 80 minutes, the ref stayed out of the way for the most part and there was plenty of running rugby.

Love it.

Brumbies got out to a good lead and looked dominant, that rolling maul is near on unstoppable.

Then the second half, the Reds front row engaged beast mode and completely ruined the Brumbies scrum.

That was nasty.

A last minute thriller, two excellent sides going toe-to-toe.

Stand out performers?

That Brumbies 9 & 10 combo of White and Lolesio are very good aren't they and Pete Samu turned into the best winger in the world with a couple of tries.

Few injury concerns for the Brumbies but they do get the bye now.

For the Reds, Zander & Tupou in the front row - outstanding. Angus Scott-Young hit 425 breakdowns or about that many, he was excellent.

James O'Connor played and seemingly led brilliantly from the front while Hunter Paisami was great as always.

I reckon the Reds missed Hamish Stewart not being there and the ability to play with a bit more width. It'll be interesting to see what they do there.

For Saturday night viewing, it doesn't get much better than that.

The only problem now is, we won't get to see the re-match @ Suncorp for another 5 weeks or so.

This week it's the Reds Vs Force @ Suncorp - the corresponding game last year was superb but you'd think the Force will be pushing shit uphill to get close to the Reds this year.

The other game, the Waratahs & Rebels.

Yuck.

The Waratahs stink.
