Eagle Farm 06/02/2020

Queensland racing takes a step back as some of the better horses head for a spell. As a result, some horses who have been running nice races against quality fields now get their chance to claim some good prize money.

Racing returns to Eagle Farm, personally I simply can’t back a horse that has not had a run on this track. The firmness of the ground is causing many horses to not perform at their best. But, that again means there will be some ‘track specialist’.

As to be expected, track rating a Good 4 with the rail out 3.5m.

Race 2: Number 3 Miss Penfold @$2.50

I was quite impressed with the girls performance last start. And off that I can’t see her rivals stopping her again today. Draw is beneficial and we know she will handle the track. She is rockhard fit, and on a program where there seems to be a few short favourites, this girl in my eyes is a good thing.

Race 5: Number 7 Genzai The Wolf @$5.50

Well if you can forgive his last start, which in my eyes wasn’t even that bad in a good field, this fellas form looks pretty good. Yet to win at Eagle Farm but has a 100% place strike rate at the track. He finds an easier race and I believe should be winning. The favourite formlines

read Dalby and Warick and so at $2.80 its a joke. Drops 5kgs from his last start, this bloke should be winning.

Race 7: Number 4 Ingear @$1.35

Don’t need to be a form expert to tell you this horse should be winning, too short to back but add into multis and follow as it heads to some better races.
