Day 2 of the Championships

Alrighty, big day of racing.

Still can't believe the win of Anamoe last week, simply outstanding. He'll back up next week and win again in the Champagne - can't wait.

This Saturday is epic, let's have a look.

Randwick

Starting early, Gai Waterhouse and Tim Clark combine with Converge ($2.35), I think he'll lead and win. Nice run last time out, the winner came off his back. Goes to the front here and dictates.

Alright, so early win.

We'll wait until Race 6 on the day, what a race. September Run & Isotope. It doesn't end there but I'll back Isotope ($3.50) to beat September Run and the rest of them. She's drawn better than September Run who will get back and I reckon 2nd up from a spell she'll peak here. Looks hard to beat.

There's some other good horses going around Probabeel ($2.40) looks hard to beat in the Queen of the Turf but I'll wait until the last and find some value with Sweet Deal ($21). G Boss on, back on a firm deck and back to the 1200m. $21 is massive overs, keen on her each way here.

Eagle Farm

Competitive day of racing in Brisbane, some short priced favourites in the first couple of races but nothing stands out.

I'm saving all my pennies for the best of the day across all venues, you can read about that here.

Caulfield

Like Brisbane, Caulfield is tricky.

I think Mr Quickie ($1.80) is too good for them in the mile race, that's Race 4. He'll go back to last and so long as their isn't a mad leader bias with the rail true, I think he can run over the top of them despite the 61kg. I reckon we'll get better than $2.30.

Best each way bet of the day might be Broadwayandfourth ($14) in the 8th race. First up got run off its legs over the 1000m and hit the line well, step up to 1200m suits and should get good tempo to suit. $14 is a nice price here, particularly if they're running on.

Morphetville

Normally we wouldn't cover Adelaide too closely, but I like a couple so let's fill our boots here.

Race 3, Debt Collector ($8.50) first up is a nice each way price, then Instant Celebrity ($2.90) in the 6th, Steinem ($2.10) in the 7th and Exhilarates ($3.60) to win a cracking sprint race in the 8th.

Outstanding day of racing in South Australia, I'll take those in a multi with Debt Collector the place and the rest to win.

A great day of racing, good luck, good punting & gamble responsibly!
