Big names are going toe to toe, meanwhile cyclone St Lucia bears down on Sunnybank.
QPR round 5 is upon us, as is the Au Super Rugby Grand final and with that Thorny has greenlit some of the extended squad’s return to club land.
Brothers v Norths
It’s the first round of the Green Beacon Cup with Brothers hosting Norths at Crosby Road.
Following their first win of the season the home side has three starting changes this week. Jonte Connolly in the row, Reds prop Harry Hoopert is back and a late addition Tom Da Forno for injured winger Billy Bulley.
Still stinging and winless after last week Norths have only one change to the run on XV with Ethan Richards elevated from the bench to inside centre.
This is always a good battle but with two freshly named Jr Wallaby squad members bolstering the bench you have to give it to the home side.

Bond v GPS
The bunter bowl is on the line during the first genuine top of the table clash of the season with table neighbours Bond (3rd) hosting GPS (2nd).
Fresh off the bye Bond’s only change in the backline is Spencer Jeans at half back while in the forwards it looks to remain as per.
There is a question mark hovering over the second Row, Angus Blyth has been called up in response to a supposed injury within the Red's ahead of the grand final.
GPS have made some strong changes especially after saying bon voyage to AJ Alitumu who flew out to MLR. Their first-string front will start, Reds Tuaina Tualima is back at lock, captain Michael Richards returns from wedding duties and live wire Josh Collins jumps on the wing.
It’s going to be a very tough game but the Bullsharks at home gives them the edge.
