So rumour has it Chad Townsend is looking to head north to link up with the Cowboys.
Todd Payten confirmed that the Cowboys are on the hunt for a halfback, but is Chad Townsend the right guy?
If I am a Cowboys fan, I'm not so sure about this one.
Is Chad Townsend going to win you a premiership at this stage of his career?
I doubt it.
I know what you're thinking, he was there in 2016 when the Sharkies famously beat the Storm, but that's 5 years ago.
Cowboys fans of course got spoilt with JT, arguably the best of all-time and without a doubt the best laugh in the game.
The list of potential acquisitions for the Cowboys includes Adam Reynolds, Tom Dearden, Luke Brooks & Townsend himself.
One good thing about Townsend is his personal vlog, he does this stuff pretty well.
But back to the footy, in terms of the halfbacks that might be available to the Cowboys, I'd obviously take Reynolds over Townsend and probably Dearden as well.
Reynolds is probably only getting better with age, I can't believe the Bunnies are going to let him go!
Dearden is young and raw but there's plenty of upside with him.
Luke Brooks? Once upon a time I thought he was a superstar, now I'm not so sure.
Townsend is solid but he's not the answer for the Cowboys.
I'd be interested to see what the general consensus is among Cowboys supporters.
Agree / disagree?
