AFL Betting – Round Two

There were some surprise results in round one, namely the Crows downing the Cats at home and almost as shockingly, the Swans beating the Lions at the Gabba.

It meant that things didn’t go our way, at least in regard to the tips that I shared in the corresponding article last week.

However, I tweeted tips for five different games on twitter over the weekend, four of which won. From now on I’ll be posting there, allowing me to get a greater gauge on things over the course of the round rather than share tips for games by Thursday.

I’ll be using this article as a reflection on how the weekend went, as well as a little tip for Thursday night’s game.

Here were last week’s winners from Twitter.

For tonight’s game between Collingwood and Carlton at the MCG, I like Sam Walsh in a head-to-head fantasy matchup with Steele Sidebottom.

PlayUp currently have him at $1.91 which seems good value given the Pies engine room gave up a ton of disposals and points to the Dogs last week, combined with the fact that the 30-year-old Sidebottom is returning from a calf injury.
