What a fucken horror show on Saturday.
If you're a follower of us on Instagram, you would have been profitable if you followed the big ginga ninja Marto who landed a couple of multis.
I won about as much as the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Never fear, we're back for Wednesday racing, here's a few selections and we'll know very early whether we'll be having a Brekky Creek steak for dinner or butter on toast.
Sandown Race 1 - Tycoon's Girl - $2.20
Jamie Kah on a new comer that has trialled well albeit on the synthetic track which doesn't always give you the best guide.
But the Jamie Kah factor is big and there's been big money for it already.
Obvious danger is Rambeau which looks like it might work to the lead, but I'll be with the best jockey in the country and Tycoon's Girl.
Canterbury Race 1 - Divina - $3.60
Waller & McDonald team up in the first @ Canterbury today.
The first up run behind Hilal was a very good run.
The recent trial effort wasn't jumping off the page at me but Waller's often aren't always trial stars by any stretch of the imagination.
Thinking J-Mac will add to his lead in the Sydney jockeys premiership here.
Doomben Race 7 - So Dapper - $4.80
If those two get up earlier in the day, I may well head down to Doomben to watch Race 7.
So Dapper is second up and has twice out of three starts when second up.
Drying track helps and thought the first up run was very good. The horse that beat it, Purrfect Deal is one to watch, she stormed home.
Think Ron Stewart will go forward and sit outside Grand Zou, if they can cross Wowsers and control the tempo, I think So Dapper can sit outside the lead and win.
A track upgrade to a Good 4 wouldn't hurt things, but keen on this bloke with a nice bet the win and a bigger bet the place.
Give him strength, you'll hear me in the stands if everything goes to plan today, in fact I'm feeling good, I'll be taking the multi @ around $38.
